Performed interim M&A functions for one of the largest and fastest growing registered investment advisory firms in N. America.

Situation | One of the largest and fastest growing RIAs in the country with offices nationwide was dealing with the departure of a senior member of its M&A team. I was asked to come in midflight and help bring several deals through closure without interrupting the momentum and take over nearly all aspects of the investment process.

Action Taken | I came in during the two week notice period to learn the nuances of executing mergers and acquisitions in the wealth management space. Managed the relationship, business analysis, on-site visit, due diligence review. preparation of legal documentation and onboarding process for several successful investments.

Results | Improved simplicity of CPM tool, this was a well-oiled machine by the time I arrived to provide the interim transactional support. We successfully closed several deals and it could not have been a better growth experience – both professionally and personally.
